      IFC Films and Shudder have unveiled a trailer, poster, and images for Saccharine, a psychological body horror film by writer-director Natalie Erika James (Relic).

      Featuring Midori Francis, Danielle MacDonald, and Madeleine Madden, the story centers on a medical student who participates in a bizarre weight-loss trend that involves consuming human ashes. She soon regrets her choice as she is haunted by the spirit of the individual she has been ingesting. Check out the trailer below...

      After giving in to a peculiar weight-loss trend that entails eating human ashes, love-struck medical student Hana becomes tormented by the ghost of the person she is consuming.

      Saccharine is set to hit theaters on May 22nd.
