HBO has unveiled a new trailer for the highly anticipated third season of House of the Dragon, which is set to debut on June 21st.
The upcoming season will showcase the intensifying conflict known as the Dance of the Dragons, as the Targaryen family plunges Westeros into a civil war for the Iron Throne. The trailer hints at several battles featured in George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood book, including the Butcher's Ball and the Battle of the Gullett. House of the Dragon features Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin, and Abubakar Salim.
Joining the cast for the third season are newcomers James Norton as Ormund Hightower, Tommy Flanagan as Lord Roderick Dustin, Dan Fogler as Ser Torrhen Manderly, Tom Cullen as Ser Luthor Largent, Joplin Sibtain as Ser “Bold” Jon Roxton, and Barry Sloane as Ser Adrian Redfort.
House of the Dragon season 3 will premiere on June 21st.
