      Amazon MGM Studios has released the first trailer for Verity, a psychological thriller based on the popular novel by Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends with Us. Directed by Michael Showalter (The Idea of You), the film centers on Lowen (Dakota Johnson), a struggling writer hired to ghostwrite for the famous author Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway) at her isolated estate. During her time there, Lowen discovers unsettling confessions regarding Verity's husband (Josh Hartnett), leading her into a frightening situation as the boundaries between fiction and reality begin to blur.
