Sarah and her twin grow up in the untamed Western Wood, where they learn about witchcraft while enduring neglect and mistreatment. However, a fateful meeting with the nightmarish Hessian at the time of his beheading ignites a spark in Sarah, empowering her to confront those who have wronged her and transform into a formidable witch.
