UNIT encounters a Hostile Universe in new Doctor Who adventures.

      Fans of Doctor Who who are interested in the occurrences when the Doctor is absent can now acquire The Worlds of Doctor Who – UNIT Eras: Hostile Universe, a new full-cast audio drama box set from Big Finish. This set includes four brand-new stories that highlight the courageous soldiers and scientists of UNIT (Unified Intelligence Taskforce) as they confront Earth's adversaries.       The four fresh audio episodes that span UNIT's history (including the first-ever UNIT story in the Fifteenth Doctor era) are:

      1. *Rise of the Valiant* by Andrew Smith – Set during the events of ‘The Stolen Earth’, while the Doctor strives to restore order, it falls to the UNIT heroes to resist the Daleks. Colonel Mace, Harry Sullivan, and the retired Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart are aware of a secret weapon with a familiar name hidden in the Brazilian rainforest. This episode features Jon Culshaw as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, Christopher Naylor as Harry Sullivan, Rupert Holliday-Evans as Colonel Mace, Meghan Treadway as Major Zara Webber, Ines Amado as Chief Engineer Aurea De Silva, and Nicholas Briggs as the Daleks.

      2. *The Indigo Child* by Ken Bentley – Back in 2017, this episode reveals UNIT disbanded and its heroes in danger. Following an attempt on Kate Stewart's life, she begins to retaliate from the shadows with Petronella Osgood. It becomes a race against time against an adversary determined to succeed at all costs. The cast includes Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart, Ingrid Oliver as Petronella Osgood, Natalie Gumede as Angela Rukundo, Julie Teal as Woman with No Name, Alan Cox as Nathan Favager, and Robert Whitelock as Edwards.

      3. *The Life and Death of Private Eddie Wise* by Hannah Kennedy – With aliens invading, Private Eddie Wise is haunted by nightmares and deception, while Sarah Jane Smith seeks information on UNIT. As Eddie gets caught up in a plot that threatens his workplace, Sarah Jane believes she has found a way to obtain what she needs. Melanie Bush, Colonel Alec Grover, and Dr. Isla Ellis face challenges as the stars awaken and the Vlinx present a problem.
