Star Wars makes its return to theaters for the first time in over six years next week with the premiere of director Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian and Grogu. Two new clips have surfaced online, offering another glimpse of the film that follows the successful Disney+ series The Mandalorian.

In the clips, Sigourney Weaver’s Colonel Ward from the New Republic offers Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin a new Razor Crest as a down payment for his upcoming mission to track the enigmatic ‘Ace of Staves’. This leads to a dramatic encounter with the Hutt Twins on the planet Nal Hutta; take a look at them below…

The evil Empire has crumbled, though Imperial warlords continue to be scattered across the galaxy. As the newly established New Republic strives to safeguard all that the Rebellion fought to achieve, they have called upon the renowned Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu for assistance.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is set to hit theaters on May 22, 2026.
