HBO Max has unveiled the official teaser trailer for the spin-off of The Big Bang Theory, titled Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, which is also a Max Original comedy series. The ten-episode show is created, written, and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady, featuring Kevin Sussman (Stuart), Lauren Lapkus (Denise), Brian Posehn (Bert), and John Ross Bowie (Barry) in the cast. In the series, comic book store owner Stuart Bloom has the responsibility of restoring reality after he accidentally breaks a device created by Sheldon and Leonard, which leads to a multiverse catastrophe. He is accompanied in this endeavor by his girlfriend Denise, his geologist friend Bert, and the pesky quantum physicist Barry Kripke. Throughout their journey, they encounter alternate-universe versions of beloved characters from "The Big Bang Theory." As the title suggests, things take a turn for the worse.
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe premieres on July 24, exclusively on HBO Max.
