World of Tanks: HEAT set to debut next week.

Wargaming has revealed that World of Tanks: HEAT, a new standalone free-to-play tactical vehicle shooter, will launch on May 26 across multiple platforms. This upcoming title in tank warfare offers a quicker and more dynamic approach to Armoured Warfare. Check out the new cinematic trailer below, featuring music from the band Biting Elbows.

World of Tanks: HEAT transports players to an alternate post-WWII era, where they will command hero-enhanced tanks and collaborate as a team to achieve victory in fast-paced battles.

Upon its release, players can select from three battlefield roles: Defender, Assault, and Marksman. Each participant will control two vehicles, with each one designed for its specific combat role. There will be fifteen vehicles available at launch, which can be customized with various modules and equipment.

Battles will occur across eight maps that cover a diverse range of biomes, settings, and visual styles, accommodating multiple playstyles through different game modes. Speaking of which, there are four PvP game modes: Hardpoint, Control, Kill Confirmed, and Conquest, each featuring distinct victory conditions.

Be ready for World of Tanks: HEAT to arrive on May 26 for PC (via Wargaming Game Center and Steam), Steam Deck, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and NVIDIA GeForce.
