Big Finish's Torchwood concludes with Torchwood: Fare Well.

      Big Finish Productions' Torchwood series concludes with the release of its one-hundredth episode, Torchwood: Fare Well. It has been two decades since we were first introduced to the enigmatic Torchwood Institute, and thanks to Big Finish, fans have experienced many of their narratives. This final story centers on the core of Torchwood, Ianto Jones.

      When the audience first met Torchwood in the TV episodes Army of Ghosts and Doomsday, we were unaware that the organization’s mission would expand into its own spin-off series. Following the conclusion of the TV series, fans enjoyed exciting adventures through Big Finish’s Torchwood range. This series has taken listeners from the organization’s origins in the Victorian era, through the 20th and 21st centuries, and even into the distant future. However, this last chapter transports us back to the events following the Battle of Canary Wharf.

      In this hundredth episode, the young Torchwood recruit Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd) and seasoned agent Tommy Pierce (Timothy Bentinck) navigate the repercussions of that fateful battle. The duo has fought alongside each other against numerous foes, yet their friendship faces a challenge when they discover that not all Cybermen were vanquished. A Cyberman remains hidden in the cellar of a house in the village of Wetwang.

      Joining Gareth David-Lloyd and Timothy Bentinck are Devante Fleming as Jason and Alistair Toovey as George.

      Don't be disheartened, Torchwood fans. While the main range has concluded, a brand-new miniseries is set to be released next year, bringing more adventures and enigmas.
