New Doctor Who stories featuring familiar foes for the Third Doctor set to arrive in October with The Planet Killers.

      This October, The Third Doctor (Tim Treloar) and Jo Jones (Katy Manning) are set for thrilling escapades in The Third Doctor Adventures: The Planet Killers, a new audio box set from Big Finish. This upcoming release brings the reunited duo back to 19th-century Russia and to a stunning planet where an old foe awaits.

      The two new stories for the Third Doctor this October include:

      The Beasts of Sakhalin Island – a four-part narrative by Jez Fielder. Upon their arrival on Sakhalin Island in 1890, the Doctor and Jo encounter the renowned playwright and author Dr. Anton Chekhov (Joe Eyre), who is documenting the struggles of inmates at the penal colony. However, when a peculiar infection arises and the anguished cries of a suffering creature fill the night, the Doctor suspects that something is being torn apart between dimensions.

      The Planet Killers by Andrew Smith. This two-part story transports the time travelers to the enchanting world of Paratel, but it quickly becomes apparent that this planet is facing annihilation. Their effort to combat its destruction, along with the ruthless mineral exploitation and inhumane slavery, becomes significantly more challenging with the arrival of an old adversary, the Daleks (Nicholas Briggs), whose malevolent plan threatens countless lives. Can the Doctor halt the Daleks and prevent Paratel's demise?
