Robert the Doll makes a comeback in a reboot of the horror franchise.

      Flickering Myth is thrilled to announce our collaboration with Shepka Productions to revive the cult British horror series Robert the Doll for IMP Studios and distributor 4Digital Media.

      The new film, currently in production, will provide a fresh take on the notorious killer doll, who first appeared in the 2015 film Robert by the late UK genre filmmaker Andrew Jones, and subsequently featured in four more films in the original series.

      This reboot of Robert represents the third partnership between Flickering Myth and Shepka Productions, following the gothic horror The Baby in the Basket and the suspense thriller Death Among the Pines, and it brings back several cast and crew members from those projects.

      Elle O’Hara from The Baby in the Basket leads the cast along with 10-year-old newcomer Iona McGill. Stephen Kerr and Nathan Shepka from Death Among the Pines also join the cast, along with Annabelle Lanyon from Legend and The Baby in the Basket, as well as veteran Lee Bane from the Robert series. Additional cast includes Ian Plunkett, Nico Palmieri, Gary Collinson, David McCallum, John Walker-Gray, David Rogerson, and Zinny Udala.

      The film is produced by Robert Graham of IMP Studios, Nathan Shepka of Shepka Productions, and Gary Collinson of Flickering Myth, with executive producers Tony Taglienti and Sally Wood from 4 Digital Media, and Emmy Award-winner Kira Reed (The Bay). Filming is currently underway in Scotland, aiming for a release in 2027.
