Killer plants extend their roots in The Worlds of Doctor Who – Planet Krynoid: Survivors.
Three chilling new audio episodes are released today in The Worlds of Doctor Who – Planet Krynoid: Survivors. This second box set in the Planet Krynoid series features the menacing and voracious alien plants (originally introduced in the 1976 Doctor Who TV episode The Seeds of Doom) as they begin to extend their reach.
Through three fresh episodes, listeners will discover the fate of the remaining inhabitants of Sunlight and learn what befell the very first colony of Sunlight. The episodes include:
The Hunt by Jonathan S Powell – After being coerced by Raynor Cross, survivors Tiro Hart and Letty Hodan must navigate the remnants of their former lives to recover an item, but they are not the only ones with motives concerning a pod.
The Harrow by Georgia Cook – A century prior to the current struggles of the Sunlight survivors lies Station One, Verdana’s inaugural colony. The cause of its downfall remains a mystery, but when the TARDIS appears in the presence of a Krynoid, the Eighth Doctor and Liv Chenka may uncover the truth.
The Harvest by Jonathan Morris – A small group of survivors arrives at an enigmatic settlement offering food, shelter, and tranquility, leading to a sense of relief. However, their comfort is short-lived as the serenity of Greenhaven comes with a cost that Father Nature aims to exact.
Left to right: David Ault, Becky Wright, David Hounslow, Nicola Walker, Georgia Cook (Writer), Tamsin Greig, and Gina Bellman.
The first and third episodes feature Nye Occomore as Tiro Hart, Em Prendergast as Letty Hodan, Sarah Whitehouse as Maggie Hart, Ian Conningham as Fletcher Hart, Melody Chikakane Brown as Bryn Forrester, along with Karl Theobald, Simon Kane, Lara Lemon, Juliet Aubrey, Christopher Ragland, Jack Myers, Abbie Andrews, and Angus Wright.
