Marvel commemorates 50 years of Spider-Woman with a special anniversary edition.

      Marvel Comics has announced plans to commemorate 50 years of Spider-Woman this September with the release of Spider-Woman 50th Anniversary Special #1, a one-shot that honors the Dark Angel and sets the stage for a new era of Jessica Drew.

      Writer Dan Watters (Loki) and artist Andrea Broccardo (Spider-Man Noir) will take Spider-Woman back into the shadows, unveiling a status quo that will stun fans more than a bioelectric blast! A shocking twist of fate lies in store for Spider-Woman in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man: Spider-Versity, marking the start of the latest chapter in her complicated web of deception and intrigue. As she returns to her roots as a private investigator and collaborates with journalist Ben Urich, Spider-Woman explores areas of the Marvel Universe that other heroes avoid. However, will her descent into darkness jeopardize her heroic legacy—or even her mental stability?

      Additionally, acclaimed writer Ann Nocenti (Daredevil) makes her return to the character, teaming up with artist Stefano Raffaele (Alien Vs. Captain America) for an unforgettable detective story! While embroiled in a bizarre case in Los Angeles, Spider-Woman follows clues throughout the city, ultimately confronting one of her longstanding adversaries, Flying Tiger!
