Jack Skellington and Sally have been married for a year, during which Sally has embraced her role as queen with unwavering resolve. However, juggling her duties as the ruler of Halloween Town along with the expectations of others has introduced considerable uncertainty into her life, as she strives to foster cooperation and harmony among the citizens of all holiday lands. Overwhelmed by her numerous responsibilities, she finds herself uncertain about what the future holds.
While visiting her parents in Dream Town, Sally notices something unique about a patchwork girl named Luna Slumberly and decides to take her on as an apprentice. The inaugural Halloween Town exhibition was supposed to be Luna’s opportunity to showcase her spell-casting skills, but things take a turn when both Sally and Luna are unexpectedly transported to a new realm called Time Town.
Now, Sally and Luna must discover a way to return home, but their efforts to do so are complicated, as Halloween Town has been sent back in time. Sally is desperate to reunite with Jack, and the duo embarks on a wide-ranging adventure across realms, meeting new friends and foes along the way. Time is of the essence, and Sally will have to determine the future she desires and what she’s willing to give up to achieve it.
