Witchblade and Vampirella are set to come together once again for new comic book crossover events.

      Witchblade and Vampirella will meet again for the first time in over twenty years, as Top Cow and Dynamite Entertainment collaborate on a pair of comic book crossover one-shots featuring these iconic characters. The partnership kicks off in August with the launch of Top Cow’s Witchblade/Vampirella #1, written by Witchblade series writer Marguerite Bennett and illustrated by Laura Braga. This will be followed by Dynamite’s Vampirella X Witchblade Special #1 in September, written by Erica Schultz (Xena: Warrior Princess) and illustrated by Valentina Pinti.

      Matt Hawkins, President and COO at Top Cow, remarked, “This kind of crossover succeeds only when all parties are fully engaged—both creatively and as collaborators. Here we have two legendary characters and two publishers, with a story that's bold. It places Sara and Vampirella on a collision course where trust is tenuous and the stakes are real.”

      Detective Sara Pezzini has encountered plenty of nightmarish scenarios, but nothing could prepare her for this.
