La creadora de Hazbin Hotel, Vivienne Medrano, está desarrollando un largometraje musical animado titulado Prehistoria.
Vivienne Medrano, the creator of **Hazbin Hotel** and **Helluva Boss**, is working on **Prehistoria**, an animated musical feature film for Warner Bros. The studio made the announcement at Annecy, where Medrano revealed a first-look image of the film's main character.
Very little information has been provided regarding the plot or characters of **Prehistoria**, but Medrano mentioned that the film is set in a “fossil fantasy world.” She also noted on Instagram that this story is an original concept separate from the **Hellaverse** that she had set aside while continuing its development.
“Ever since I started my animation journey, my greatest dream was to be involved in a feature film. Now, being able to create an original story that I’ve nurtured for years with Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, a studio whose characters and stories have significantly influenced my life, is truly a realization of that dream. I’m incredibly excited to share this fossil fantasy world with everyone,” Medrano expressed.
Medrano originally launched **Hazbin Hotel** in 2019 with a pilot that she independently created and uploaded to YouTube, which attracted considerable attention and garnered a fanbase for the lively animated musical adult comedy. The official series debuted on Prime Video in 2024, with the second season following last year. There is currently no update on the release date for the third season, but Prime has already commissioned a fourth and a fifth season, the latter being the final one.
**Helluva Boss** serves as a spin-off of **Hazbin Hotel** and started on Medrano’s YouTube channel in 2020. Prime Video remastered and released the first two seasons on the platform last fall, with the first part of the third season set to debut later this year and part two expected next year. It has also been renewed for a third and fourth season, with Medrano hinting at a potential crossover between the two series in the future.
