New enemies arrive in Gotham in the trailer for season 2 of Batman: Caped Crusader.

      Yesterday, we got our first glimpse of the Batman: Knightfall animated trilogy, but that's not the only animated project fans can anticipate. Prime Video has just unveiled the trailer for the second season of Batman: Caped Crusader, the film noir-inspired series created by Bruce Timm and Matt Reeves.       In the second season, many of Batman’s classic villains will arrive in Gotham City with fresh interpretations suited for the 1940s version of the Caped Crusader. The trailer hints at appearances from The Riddler, Poison Ivy, a female Mad Hatter, and others, alongside corrupt officers, mobsters, and supernatural elements. It concludes with a foreboding glimpse of The Joker, connecting to the cliffhanger from the first season that introduced him, as he promises Batman the start of their legendary rivalry.

      Batman: Caped Crusader features the voices of Hamish Linklater as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn/Harleen Quinzel, Jason Watkins as Alfred Pennyworth, Eric Morgan Stuart as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Krystal Joy Brown as Barbara Gordon, Michelle C. Bonilla as Renee Montoya, and Bumper Robinson as Lucius Fox.

      The second season of Batman: Caped Crusader is set to premiere on July 31st.
