This August, the Ninth Doctor and Rose embark on new adventures in deep space in Doctor Who.

      Christopher Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor takes a hiatus from the Powell Estate this August in The Ninth Doctor Adventures: Dark Tides, an all-new full-cast audio drama from Big Finish Productions. Leaving the Powell Estate well behind, the Doctor and Rose (Billie Piper) journey deep into space, where mysteries and terrors await them. A new ‘Next Time’ video can be viewed below.

      Written by Tim Foley, The Ninth Doctor Adventures: Dark Tides transports the TARDIS far from Earth, to the point where a long-lost ship, the Vesterbold, has emerged from the Dark Tides region at the universe's edge. The Doctor joins the Knights of Atlas on their quest aboard this unusual mapping vessel, where they soon encounter Dr. Vivian Rest, a mysterious survivor. However, there is something on board that doesn't belong, and even the boldest of knights is unprepared to confront the evil that lies in wait.

      Joining Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper in Dark Tides are Doon Mackichan as the enigmatic Dr. Vivian Rest, Ben Arogundade as the steadfast leader Sir Cal, Sam Stafford as his anxious squire Mervyn, and David Shaw-Parker as the sage Holbrook.
