Ahead of its world debut at the Fantasia International Film Festival, a trailer has been unveiled for the holiday horror film Unholy Night. The movie tells the story of a family that comes together for Christmas Eve, only to have their festivities interrupted when their deceased grandmother makes an appearance and embarks on a killing spree, forcing the entire neighborhood to defend themselves against their undead relatives.
Written and directed by Michael Gabriele, the film features a cast that includes Marc Bendavid, Shailene Garnett, Jacqueline Robbins, Toni Ellwand, Ron Lea, Christina Rosato, Olivier Renaud, Celia Owen, Ellen David, Frank Spadone, and Al Sapienza. You can watch the trailer below…
Gino’s customary family Christmas Eve transforms into a gory struggle for survival when his long-deceased grandmother shows up and goes on a murderous rampage. In the midst of the chaos, Gino reconnects with his former partner, and the dysfunctional pair must evade his dead Italian relatives as they search for a way to eliminate these Christmas spirits and survive the family gathering. Unholy Night will have its premiere at Fantasia, which takes place from July 16th to August 2nd, 2026.
