Anthology Film Archives features films by Stanley Kubrick and Frederick Wiseman on 35 and 16mm in Racetrack, while Experimental Westerns include works by Robert Downey Sr. and Dennis Hopper on 35mm.
Museum of the Moving Image continues its De Palma retrospective with Blow Out on 35mm this Friday and Sunday; Herbert Biberman’s Salt of the Earth will screen on Sunday.
Roxy Cinema will show The Way We Were on 35mm this Sunday.
IFC Center presents sex, lies, and videotape daily; Jaws, Nowhere, Easy Rider, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, and Paprika screen late; Blood Simple and Chan Is Missing are also part of the lineup.
Nitehawk Prospect Park will show Edge of Tomorrow and Jaws early on Saturday and Sunday.
