      Apple TV has announced a fall premiere date for its forthcoming thriller drama Nocturne, featuring Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham.

      Set to debut on October 30th, Nocturne revolves around Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), an ex-soldier who becomes a homicide detective. Disillusioned with the challenging streets of Philadelphia, he relocates to a small town in Western Pennsylvania in search of a peaceful life. However, when the town and his family face threats from the deviously intelligent serial killer Jurek Walter (Graham), Jonah must safeguard everything he loves. As the urgent quest for Jurek’s last missing victim drives Jonah to confront Jurek with the help of his surrogate daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer (Beetz), how far is he willing to go?

      The series consists of 10 episodes and also stars Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent), Rory Culkin (Under The Banner of Heaven), Chrissy Metz (This Is Us), Poorna Jagannathan (Never Have I Ever), and Gary Carr (21 Bridges).

      Nocturne is adapted from Lars Kepler's books Lazarus and The Sandman, the pen name for authors Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril and Alexander Ahndoril. Rowan Joffe and John Hlavin developed the show, serving as showrunners, writers, and executive producers, while Tim Van Patten (Masters of the Air) directed the first two episodes and also holds an executive producer role. Schreiber and Beetz will additionally act as producer and executive producer, respectively. The Ahndorils will join Øystein Karlsen, David Rysdahl, Dorothy Fortenberry, and Niclas Salomonsson as executive producers.

      Nocturne will premiere on October 30th.
