John Travolta plays The Gentleman Thief in the trailer for the heist thriller.

      Vertical has unveiled a trailer and poster for its forthcoming heist thriller, The Gentleman Thief.

      In this film, John Travolta returns as Mason Goddard, having previously appeared in Cash Out (2024) and High Rollers (2025). The plot follows the skilled thief as he is coaxed out of retirement to steal a priceless artwork, only to discover he is ensnared in a lethal trap orchestrated by a vengeful kingpin. Directed by Randall Emmett, the film also features Lukas Haas, Rebecca De Mornay, Sam Asghari, DJ Khaled, and Quavo. Watch the trailer below…

      Renowned thief Mason Goddard (John Travolta) is drawn out of retirement to seize a valuable painting at an international art auction. However, he quickly realizes he is in a complex and deadly snare laid by a merciless criminal kingpin seeking retribution. If he fails to execute the most clever heist of his life, it will be the end for Mason and his mismatched band of thieves. Throughout his journey, Mason encounters a potential true love – but only if he can reach the escape safe and sound. The Gentleman Thief is set to be released digitally on July 28th, followed by a limited theatrical run on July 31st.
