Dread has released a new trailer for director Tory Jones’ slasher film set in the 90s, The Boy From Below. Their only chance of survival lies with a video store clerk who must leverage her knowledge of horror films to outsmart the brutal killer.
The cast features Jack Norman, Spooky Madison, Dee Wallace, Felissa Rose, Chaney Morrow, Tommy Lee Wallace, and Richie Ramone. You can watch the trailer below.
Set in Halloween 1997 in the small town of Carpenter Falls, video store clerk Quinn Curtis is getting ready for an evening of horror movie marathons and local celebrations. However, when a figure from the community's dark history reemerges as a masked killer dubbed the Boy from Below, the atmosphere turns lethal. Infatuated with horror films, the killer starts to recreate his own warped interpretations of classic slasher scenes, targeting Quinn and her friends. As the death toll climbs, Quinn must depend on her extensive genre knowledge to outsmart a relentless hunter and survive the night.
The Boy from Below will be available on VOD starting August 11th.
