Teaser for the fantasy adventure Momo and the Time Thieves.

      Signature Entertainment has unveiled a trailer for the fantasy adventure film Momo and the Time Thieves. Based on Michael Ende’s 1973 novel Momo, the movie tells the story of a young orphan residing in the remnants of an ancient amphitheater, who possesses a unique ability to assist others. She joins forces with the enigmatic Guardian of Time, Master Hora, to combat the time thieves who are robbing the citizens of her beloved city of their time.

      Directed by Christian Ditter, the cast includes Alexa Goodall, Martin Freeman, Kim Bodnia, Claes Bang, Laura Haddock, Araloyin Oshunremi, Jennifer Amaka Pettersson, and David Schütter. You can watch the trailer below…

      In this enchanting adventure, it's a race against time. Momo (Alexa Goodall) is a young orphan girl living in the ruins of an ancient Roman amphitheater. She spends her time with her best friend Gino (Araloyin Oshunremi) and is always available for her neighbors, but the disruption caused by a powerful multinational corporation leaves her feeling abandoned, as nobody seems to have time for her anymore, not even Gino! In her moment of greatest need, a mysterious turtle directs her to Master Hora (Martin Freeman), the Guardian of Time, and together they must hurry to confront the time thieves and reclaim what has been taken.

      Momo and the Time Thieves is set to hit theaters on August 14th.
