Neeson portrays Ryan ‘Fang’ Flanagan, a decorated military veteran who engages police in a cross-country car chase after a violent encounter with his ex-wife’s abusive new partner leads to deadly consequences. As he is pursued by law enforcement, Flanagan is aided by former comrades and supportive bystanders, racing to reach a location known as The Mongoose before he is caught and loses his chance at freedom forever.
The film also stars Marisa Tomei, Ving Rhames, Marcus Thomas, Maurice Marvel Meredith, and Michael Chiklis. Mark Vanselow, who worked as Neon’s stunt double in several previous films, makes his directorial debut with The Mongoose. The screenplay is penned by Thompson Evans. Watch the trailer below…
