Emile Hirsch looks disoriented in the trailer for the psychological horror film.

      A trailer has been released online for Woozy, the forthcoming psychological horror film directed and written by Joey Bicicchi.

      The story centers on Dusty (Emile Hirsch), a man whose carefully arranged life shatters when a terrifying apparition named Woozy appears, causing Dusty to descend into a psychological spiral and confront the fears lurking in the darkest parts of his mind.

      Emile Hirsch (SPEED RACER, INTO THE WILD) delivers a gripping performance in WOOZY, which explores a mind's descent into its darkest depths. Hirsch portrays Dusty, a man who has meticulously crafted his life into something flawless and unassailable—starting his day with meditation, adhering to disciplined yoga, rigorous boxing workouts, strict dietary choices, and obsessive cleanliness. Every element is calculated, every impulse restrained, and every fear kept at bay. Until it isn’t.

      When Dusty's precisely maintained system eventually falls apart, something unimaginable invades—Woozy. A terrifying entity that defies existence… and yet it undeniably does. What begins as a semblance of control erupts into chaotic turmoil as Dusty is compelled to confront the delusions he believed he had conquered. WOOZY transforms into a visceral clash between order and chaos, sanity and capitulation, structure and the frightening abyss lurking just beneath the surface.

      Woozy will be shown as part of the Popcorn Frights Film Festival starting August 7th.
