The situation for the cadets is dire: They are isolated on a barren planet with limited oxygen, facing a hostile civilization, and a force field that disrupts their communication with the U.S.S. Athena. Following a dramatic misunderstanding with the aliens of S'Eekay II, they hastily retreat, bringing the injured Jay-Den back to their base. His injuries are grave, and he is the only one among their misfit group who has medical training. For him to survive, he must instruct one of the other cadets in a life-saving procedure.
Suddenly, a sound breaks the stillness: clang, pop. The aliens have returned to complete their mission. Meanwhile, Chancellor Nahla devises a strategy to reach her stranded students! There must be a way through the storm…
