David Harbour’s Santa Claus returns to action in the trailer for Violent Night 2.
Universal Pictures has unveiled a trailer for the holiday action thriller sequel, Violent Night 2, once more directed by Tommy Wirkola.
David Harbour reprises his role as Santa, who employs his deadly combat skills to confront a gangster targeting the merchants at the Silver Bell Mall. However, when St. Nick loses some of his Christmas spirit, he also loses the magic necessary to defeat the violent thugs, leaving him no choice but to summon reinforcements.
Joining Harbour in the cast are Kristen Bell, Jared Harris, Joe Pantoliano, Maxwell Friedman, Daniela Melchior, and Andrew Bachelor. Check out the trailer below...
In 2022’s gritty holiday hit, Violent Night, a disheartened Santa, equipped with deadly skills, battled a group of mercenaries to save a girl and her family. Now, the not-so-jolly St. Nick is back to confront a ruthless gangster (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Jared Harris) who is menacing the merchants of the Silver Bell Mall.
When Santa forgets the true essence of Christmas, he finds himself in a bustling mall community that desperately needs his assistance. Deprived of his magic, he must find an alternative way to face the thugs threatening the mall, and time is of the essence. Santa must reawaken his belief in goodness and call for some last-minute help from the one person no villain wants to encounter: Mrs. Claus (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Kristen Bell).
Violent Night 2 will hit theaters on December 4th.
