Tim Kasher reveals that the Who’s Watching (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) will be released in October through 15 Passenger Records.
Tim Kasher (Cursive, The Good Life) has announced that the original motion picture soundtrack for his new directorial project, Who's Watching, will be released on October 23, 2026, through 15 Passenger Records, ahead of its arrival in select theaters and on digital platforms on September 18, 2026, via Dark Sky Films (you can watch the trailer here).
The soundtrack features 13 tracks, divided into side A, which includes songs by Toxic Cock Syndrome, and side B, which contains the score along with a new song from Cursive titled “Wounded Animal.” Toxic Cock Syndrome has also released their debut single “Ratcatcher,” which is available through an explicit music video that appears in Who's Watching.
So, just who is Toxic Cock Syndrome? They are a metal “band” that plays a significant role in the film, featuring Caleb Sampson (played by Zachary Ray Sherman) on bass, Chris (played by Darrion Lewis of Radkey) on guitar and vocals, and Tony (played by Isaiah Radke of Radkey) on drums. Their intentionally bizarre, aggressive, and immature tracks reflect the troubled protagonist of the movie—a darkly humorous and unsettling psychological horror thriller that critiques the male gaze while subverting both stalker and found footage clichés. In reality, the songs of Toxic Cock Syndrome were performed by Kasher (guitar and backing vocals), Radke (vocals), Lewis (guitar), Jonah Ray (drums), and Josh Ethier (bass).
The score comprises five instrumental tracks that are eerie, evocative, and occasionally strangely beautiful, culminating with “Wounded Animal,” which marks Cursive's first new music since their 2024 album, Devourer (Run For Cover Records). The song is tight and simmering, playing during the film’s closing credits and building to a cathartic, soaring finale. The entire soundtrack was composed by Kasher and is currently available for pre-order.
Before the film and soundtrack release, Kasher will kick off a Who's Watching roadshow featuring special theatrical preview events. Each event will include an advance screening of the film followed by a short acoustic set and a Q&A session with Kasher. Tickets are available now HERE.
Written and directed by Kasher, Who's Watching stars Sherman (A Desert, Under the Banner of Heaven), whose performance earned him Best Actor at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival. The cast also includes Gracie Gillam (Superhost, Fright Night, Teen Beach Movie), Olivia Luccardi (It Follows, Soft & Quiet, The Baltimorons), and Steve Berg (Don't Worry Darling, Tag). The plot revolves around eccentric musician and aspiring filmmaker Sampson who becomes obsessed with his new coworker, Krista. He secretly documents her life in order to make her the subject of his latest film. As his obsession deepens, the distinction between observer and participant starts to blur, pulling him into a dangerous cycle of surveillance, manipulation, and obsession. As the cameras continue to roll, the unsettling question arises: who is really watching whom?
