Well Go USA has unveiled a poster and trailer for The Deputy, an upcoming crime thriller directed by Matt Sukkar.
Duke Nicholson takes on the role of Toby, a young deputy who becomes entangled in a dangerous web of corruption when the dead body he is supposed to monitor goes missing. With only one ally to assist him, he embarks on a quest to clear his name.
The cast features William H. Macy, Tiffany Haddish, Stephen Dorff, Billie Lourd, and Julia Fox. Check out the trailer below…
Chief Kreuger (William H. Macy) tasks rookie Deputy Toby Sawyer (Duke Nicholson) with guarding a deceased body. However, when the corpse disappears, Toby starts a frantic search that reveals years of corruption in the small town. Faced with pressure to turn a blind eye, Toby finds an unlikely ally in Deputy Amanda Jackson (Tiffany Haddish) and aims to untangle a deadly network of deceit to vindicate himself in a place where secrets are kept hidden.
The Deputy is scheduled for release on September 25th.
