Vertical has unveiled a trailer for Just Play Dead, a forthcoming crime thriller directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale).
Samuel L. Jackson takes on the role of Jack Wolfe, a criminal who intends to stage his own death to collect insurance money, while his deceitful wife (Eva Green) plans to actually kill him and seize the funds for herself. Check out the trailer below…
A criminal genius (Samuel L. Jackson) aims to fake his demise for the insurance payout while also framing his wife’s lover. Meanwhile, his wife (Eva Green) schemes to truly end his life and claim everything. Both engage in a lethal contest of wits to outsmart one another.
Just Play Dead is set to hit theaters on August 28th, with a digital release following on September 1st.
