The first trailer and images for Ben Affleck's Animals have been released.

      Netflix has released a teaser trailer and images for Animals, the forthcoming political thriller directed by Ben Affleck.

      Affleck plays Mark Kimball, a candidate for mayor in Los Angeles whose life unravels and family is pulled into a sinister realm of deceit after his son is kidnapped and held for ransom.

      The cast features Kerry Washington, Gillian Anderson, Steven Yeun, Luis Gerardo Méndez, and Adriana Paz. Check out the trailer below…

      When their child is abducted, a mayoral candidate in Los Angeles and his spouse become ensnared in a tangled web of lies. As they rush to gather the ransom, they must face choices that might destroy their lives.

      Animals premieres on Netflix on October 9th.
