First Trailer Released for Jordan Firstman's Cannes Hit Club Kid

An observation noted during this year's Cannes Film Festival highlighted sidebar entries being positioned notably higher than the more glamorous, award-focused competition category, with Jordan Firstman’s Club Kid frequently mentioned in discussions. In contrast to many films that premiere in southern France in May and may, if fortunate, find a limited release in the United States, the actor's directorial debut will soon be available: A24 is set to release Club Kid on November 6 following screenings at TIFF and NYFF, accompanied by the release of a first trailer.

What distinguishes Firstman’s assertive entry is that it feels less like an amateur's effort and more like the work of a true talent.”

Here’s the synopsis: “A hard-partying New York City club promoter finds his fast-paced lifestyle interrupted by the sudden arrival of the 10-year-old son he never knew he had.”
