      Uncork’d Entertainment has released a trailer for The Room Below, an upcoming psychological horror film directed and written by Kurt Martin.

      The story follows Mia, a grieving mother and children’s book author, who lives with a mysterious creature in her home. In an attempt to cope with her loss, she kidnaps a boy to replace her deceased son. However, her carefully maintained reality starts to fall apart when a retired detective, on the hunt for the missing child, arrives at her doorstep.

      The film features performances from Alyssa Sutherland (Evil Dead Rise), Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors), Bobby Gilchrist (Shapeless), and Gilbert Bradman (Transfusion). You can watch the trailer below...

      Tormented by the death of her son, a mother views a boy who unexpectedly enters her life as an opportunity for redemption.
