This installment of the trilogy, penned by Lauren Mooney and Stewart Pringle, follows this twisted incarnation of the Master as he navigates the canals and grand halls of 18th-century Venice in search of an ally from his past – the Venetian mask-maker Lupo.
Lupo's brilliance is well-known in the ballrooms of Venice; he is celebrated as the finest mask-maker in the Republic's history, with his exquisite brushwork coveted by the affluent.
