Helen Mirren portrays Patricia Highsmith in the trailer for A Talent for Murder.

      Bleecker Street has unveiled a poster and trailer for A Talent for Murder, the forthcoming thriller directed by Anton Corbijn, which is based on Joanna Murray-Smith's 2014 novel, Switzerland.

      Alden Ehrenreich plays a young literary agent who becomes embroiled in an unusual confrontation with the famous author Patricia Highsmith, portrayed by Helen Mirren, as he is assigned to convince her to create a new installment in her Ripley series. You can watch the trailer below.

      The film centers on a mysterious young man from a New York publishing house (Ehrenreich) who is sent to Switzerland to persuade the acclaimed writer Patricia Highsmith (Mirren) to pen one final entry in the Ripley collection.

      A Talent for Murder will be released in theaters on October 23rd.
