      The highly anticipated conclusion to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII remake finally has a release date. A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Revelation reveals that the game will be available on April 8, 2027.

      Final Fantasy VII is widely considered not only the top entry in the Final Fantasy series but also one of the greatest video games of all time. Next year marks the 30th anniversary of its original launch, making the upcoming release of Revelation particularly timely for this milestone celebration.

      The new trailer showcases gameplay featuring the entire FFVII cast as they come together to confront Sephiroth one last time, aiming to prevent him from destroying the Lifestream and their world. Alongside the trailer, Square Enix provided an in-depth look at new combat features and the exploration system, where players will have access to the Highwind, Cid Highwind’s ship, enabling Cloud and his friends to traverse across the continents.

      Final Fantasy VII Revelation will include the voice talents of Cody Christian as Cloud, Britt Baron as Tifa, John Eric Bentley as Barret, Max Mittelman as Red XIII, Suzie Yeung as Yuffie, Paul Tinto as Cait Sith, Matthew Mercer as Vincent, J. Michael Tatum as Cid, Briana White as Aerith, Caleb Pierce as Zack, and Travis Willingham as Sephiroth, taking over from Tyler Hoechlin from the previous two remake installments.
