The romantic action film Love Hurts promises to deliver exhilarating enjoyment this Valentine’s Day season, and we have a new behind-the-scenes glimpse into its making.

This Valentine’s Day, Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once, Loki) takes on his first significant leading man role as an unexpected hero—a seemingly unassuming realtor with a troubling secret he is desperate to escape. Spoiler alert: He won’t succeed.

A new featurette highlights Quan’s co-star Arianna DeBose, named “On Set with Ariana DeBose,” offering an inside look at the forthcoming film and the efforts involved in bringing this character to life. Check it out below…

“Quan plays Marvin Gable, a realtor in the Milwaukee suburbs, where ‘For Sale’ signs are abundant. Gable receives a red envelope from Rose (Oscar® winner Ariana DeBose; West Side Story, Argylle), a former accomplice he believed was dead. She’s not pleased.

As a result, Marvin is drawn back into a dangerous world of ruthless hitmen, packed with betrayals and open houses that turn into lethal battlegrounds. With his brother Knuckles (Daniel Wu; Tomb Raider, Warcraft), a volatile crime lord, on the hunt for him, Marvin must face the haunting decisions of his past and the history he never truly left behind.”
