      Wargaming has unveiled the first lore video for Steel Hunters, their upcoming free-to-play, PvPvE shooter featuring futuristic mechs. This new video delves into the backstory of the soldier who transforms into the metal giant known as Razorside. You can view the initial lore video below.

      The premiere of Hunter stories focuses on Jason Miller Jr., a US Marine celebrated for his bravery and skill before he underwent Hunter Genesis. Amid the apocalyptic events of MayDay Omega, he abandoned the established world order to aid those in peril, a selfless decision that led him to choose between becoming a Hunter or witnessing the downfall of his followers.

      In Steel Hunters, players will explore a futuristic realm where Corporations and Factions clash over a precious extraterrestrial resource, utilizing large mechs called Hunters. These colossal machines boast powerful weaponry, making them formidable combat units, each featuring unique playstyles, ability kits, and progression systems that encourage diverse tactics on the battlefield.

      During combat, gamers will control these nearly invincible machines, leveraging the environment to their advantage. They can either crash through buildings to surprise enemies or utilize structures as cover until they are destroyed by a hail of gunfire.
