The red band trailer for Popeye horror film Shiver Me Timbers has been released.

      A new poster and red band trailer have been unveiled for Shiver Me Timbers, the upcoming horror film inspired by the now-public domain character Popeye the Sailor Man, following previous entries Popeye’s Revenge and Popeye the Slayer Man.

      Directed by Paul Stephen Mann, this slasher comedy portrays Popeye as an invincible killing machine during a meteor shower, turning a camping trip for Olive Oyl and her friends into a bloody nightmare. You can watch the trailer below...

      Set in Northern California during the summer of 1986, Olive Oyl, along with her cinema-enthusiast friends and brother Castor, sets off on a unique camping trip to witness the spectacular meteor shower that accompanies Halley’s comet. However, what begins as a peaceful night of stargazing rapidly devolves into a terrifying ordeal when a meteor from the comet transforms Popeye into a nightmarish, relentless killer.

      Shiver Me Timbers is expected to be released in April 2025.
