Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey has cast Jesse Garcia and Will Yun Lee.

      The journey continues for Christopher Nolan as he expands his cast for his adaptation of the Greek epic tragedy *The Odyssey*, welcoming Jesse Garcia (Murder City) and Will Yun Lee (Altered Carbon) to the lineup.

      Written over 2000 years ago by the Greek poet Homer, *The Odyssey* recounts the adventures of Odysseus as he returns home to Ithaca following the Trojan War. Driven off course by the wrath of the Gods, Odysseus spent ten years attempting to reach home, facing various figures from Greek mythology, most notably the sorceress Circe and the cyclops Polyphemus.

      This adaptation will showcase a large ensemble cast, many of whom have collaborated with Nolan in the past. The new actors join those previously announced, including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Elliot Page, Hamish Patel, Bill Irwin, and Samantha Morton.

      Nolan’s upcoming film, *The Odyssey*, is a mythological action epic filmed around the globe using cutting-edge Imax film technology. This project brings Homer’s iconic saga to Imax screens for the first time, set to debut in theaters on July 17, 2026.
