The announcement trailer for Cosminers, a sci-fi survival mining RPG, has been unveiled.

      Gravity Rifters has revealed that their forthcoming title, Cosminers, is set to launch on Steam in early 2026, with a demo likely to be available in August. This new game will challenge players to mine for resources in the harsh conditions of an alien planet.

      Cosminers combines multiple genres, including survival, simulation, first-person shooting, resource management, tower defense, and roguelite elements. Players will assume the role of a miner on an extraterrestrial world while also constructing their base, managing food and rest, and ensuring adequate defenses against nightly attacks from alien creatures.

      Moreover, players will not have to navigate this alien landscape alone; they can team up with up to three other players to explore, gather resources, and survive collectively.

      As they venture into the game, players will uncover a variety of resources that can be harvested and stored to meet their objectives. Additionally, there will be hidden treasures beneath the planet's surface that can unlock new gameplay possibilities.

      Cosminers will offer:

      - Basic survival by managing food, health, water, and oxygen.

      - The ability to dig deep and gather raw materials from a procedurally generated environment.

      - The chance to find hidden artifacts and technologies that grant access to new abilities in future gameplay.

      - The option to build, upgrade, defend, and repair a base.

      - The use of defense turrets to ward off aliens or the pleasure of defeating them personally.

      - The ability to play solo or with a group of up to four friends.
