11 Cast Members of The Big Bang Theory: What Are They Doing Now?
The Big Bang Theory aired for 12 seasons and 279 episodes on CBS, achieving impressive ratings and launching several new television stars.
With the show having been off the air for five years now, what have the cast members been up to?

CBS had no issues with The Big Bang Theory. The ratings showcased its massive fanbase, and for a period, reruns on TBS were the network's highest-rated broadcasts. The show also garnered Emmys, People's Choice Awards, and more. However, reviews from critics were varied, and the show's cultural significance led to a number of detractors who complained about the simplistic portrayal of characters.
Nevertheless, the talented cast of The Big Bang Theory contributed depth to the series, especially as it progressed. Here's what the cast is currently doing.
Jim Parsons

When The Big Bang Theory started, Parsons was relatively unknown and wasn’t expected to be the lead. Sheldon Cooper was originally intended as an eccentric supporting character. However, Parsons became the breakout star, leading to the creation of a spinoff, Young Sheldon, which has also spawned its own spinoff. He won an incredible four Emmys for his portrayal of Sheldon.
Besides narrating Young Sheldon, Parsons has been active in producing and taking on occasional acting roles. He performed on stage in a version of The Boys in the Band and starred in a 2020 film adaptation of it. Additionally, he co-starred in Hollywood, a limited series where he played closeted gay Hollywood agent Henry Willson, and in the 2022 drama Spoiler Alert.
And, of course, bazinga.
Kaley Cuoco

Cuoco was one of the most recognizable faces of The Big Bang Theory upon its launch. She had earlier appeared in the sitcom 8 Simple Rules during her youth. Cuoco’s character Penny was the “hot chick” (the term used here to illustrate the archetype she portrayed) whom the “nerds” initially struggled to understand, though, naturally, she eventually ended up with Leonard.
Chances are you’ve seen Cuoco on your screens in recent years. In addition to her many commercial appearances, she starred in The Flight Attendant and Based on a True Story.
She’s also lent her voice to the beloved Harley Quinn animated series, which is not exactly family-friendly.
Johnny Galecki

Galecki, who portrayed Leonard, was the apparent “star” of The Big Bang Theory at its inception, and he and Cuoco consistently remained at the forefront even as others joined the cast. Previously, he had a role on Roseanne.
Being part of The Big Bang Theory made Galecki, along with his co-stars, quite wealthy. He no longer needs to work if he doesn't want to. Recently, he made appearances on a few episodes of The Connors and in the film A Dog's Journey, both of which happened in 2019.
He has become generationally wealthy, got married not long ago, welcomed a child, and has a kid from a previous relationship. If he chooses not to work, he’s certainly got plenty to keep him occupied.
Simon Helberg

In our view, Helberg is the standout actor from the main cast of The Big Bang Theory, although he didn’t always get the chance to showcase his talent in the show. Howard was arguably portrayed quite broadly, and at times, even fans of the series might have found Howard a bit much. However, watching him in films like A Serious Man reveals his abilities.
Since The Big Bang Theory ended, Helberg has occasionally displayed his talents as well. He has appeared in various films, most notably the indie masterpiece Annette.
On television, alongside some voiceover work, Helberg played a significant though not leading role in Poker Face, the excellent Peacock series starring Natasha Lyonne. It’s definitely worth a watch.
Kunal Nayyar

For American audiences, Nayyar, who played Raj, might not have been seen much lately. Perhaps you've heard him as he voiced Guy Diamond in the three Trolls movies (and two Trolls TV specials), but that’s about it on the American front.
Born in London and raised primarily in India before moving to the U.S. for college, Nayyar has been working back in the U.K. since The Big Bang Theory concluded. He co-starred in the British thriller series Suspicion and appeared in an episode of Criminal: UK.
For the latter, Nayyar received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the British equivalent of the Emmys.
Mayim Bialik

To introduce fresh dynamics to The Big Bang Theory and enhance the female presence, Bialik first appeared as Amy Farrah Fowler in a guest role during the third season before becoming
