Jeff the Land Shark will headline his inaugural solo series in Marvel.

      Marvel Comics has revealed that Jeff the Land Shark, a standout character from Marvel Rivals, will be starring in his very own five-issue limited series, written by Kelly Thompson and illustrated by Tokitokoro.

      "Seeing Jeff rise to fame has been extraordinary and completely deserved," Thompson remarked. "I admit my bias, but who wouldn't love a charming land shark that either wants to befriend or eat everything in sight?"

      "I’m excited that the gradual success of Jeff in comics, combined with the explosive popularity of Jeff in Marvel Rivals, creates the chance for more Jeff stories, particularly more intricate ones," Thompson added. "The It’s Jeff series operates almost like perfectly timed jokes, and I adore it; however, it's thrilling to tackle the intricacies that come with a mini-series."

      When an "incident" at the Sanctum Sanctorum produces a "Shadow Jeff" bent on mischief, Jeff races to correct his error. But when the Shadow escapes into the ground, Jeff must pursue it if he hopes to return it to its rightful place. This adventure will take the endearing land shark from The Savage Land to Madripoor, encountering new friends and foes along the way. Jeff will need all his resources to resolve this dilemma and restore his reputation.

      Jeff the Land Shark #1 is set to be released in June 2025.
