Netflix has released the first trailer and a poster for the upcoming action thriller Havoc, directed and written by Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gang of London).
In the film, Tom Hardy plays Walker, a battered detective who must navigate the criminal underworld to rescue the son of a corrupt politician after a drug deal goes awry. During his mission, he uncovers a tangled web of corruption and confronts his own personal demons.
The cast also includes Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker. You can watch the trailer below…
Walker (Tom Hardy) is a wounded detective battling against the criminal underbelly that threatens to consume his city. Following a failed drug deal, he becomes the target of various factions, including an angry crime syndicate, a corrupt politician, and his own colleagues. In his efforts to save the politician's estranged son, whose connection to the drug deal reveals a complex network of corruption and conspiracy, Walker must face his troubled past.
Havoc is set to premiere on Netflix on April 25th.
