This comically frightening film, THE PARENTING, centers on young couple Rohan and Josh as they organize a perfect weekend retreat in the countryside to introduce their parents. As tensions rise between the more conservative Sharon and Frank and the easygoing Liddy and Cliff, the families soon discover that their rental property—managed by the quirky local Brenda—is haunted by a 400-year-old poltergeist. When one of the parents falls completely under its control, it falls to the young couple and their intrusive friend Sara to bring the families together and vanquish the malevolent force once and for all.
The cast includes Nik Dodani (Rohan), Brandon Flynn (Josh), Brian Cox (Frank), Edie Falco (Sharon), Lisa Kudrow (Liddy), Dean Norris (Cliff), Parker Posey (Brenda), Vivian Bang (Sara), among others.
The Parenting is set to premiere on Max on March 13th, 2025.
