Is Jason Voorhees finally dead? After being blown apart in a sting operation, the notorious killer's remains are taken to a morgue in Youngstown, Ohio. However, Jason proves difficult to eliminate, and his still-beating heart possesses the body of the coroner conducting his autopsy. This now body-hopping Jason embarks on a murderous rampage back to Crystal Lake, where his last surviving relatives Diana, her daughter Jessica, and her newborn baby Stephanie live. He can only be truly killed by them, and only through them can he regain life, driving Jason to seek full power. The year is 2455, and humanity has abandoned a polluted Earth for a new planet they've named Earth II. A group of scientists on an expedition to Earth I discovers a research facility near Camp Crystal Lake, where Jason Voorhees' body has been cryogenically preserved. They decide to transport him back on their spaceship, but in doing so, they seal their own fate! As they venture into the cosmos, the masked killer awakens, ready to unleash his wrath once more!
