Kevin Smith travels to Riverdale for the Archie Meets Jay and Silent Bob crossover event.
Pop culture icons are set to merge in July as Kevin Smith collaborates with Archie Comics to bring the View Askewniverse to Riverdale through the special one-shot comic book crossover, Archie Meets Jay and Silent Bob.
“I think it was the Stoic philosopher Epictetus who first remarked, ‘Everything’s Archie.’ And he was right,” Smith stated. “From Veronica in Clerks to the Mister Weatherbee dialogue in Chasing Amy, Archie Andrews has been woven into the fabric of my pop cultural development. So, I couldn't miss this amazing chance to blend the realms of Riverdale with the Askewniverse, allowing characters like Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Moose, Reggie, and Josie to meet up with misfits like Jay and Silent Bob.”
