A crossover featuring Godzilla and the Avengers is set to be released in June by Marvel Comics.
After making his way through the Marvel Universe with confrontations against Hulk, Spider-Man, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four, Toho’s King of the Monsters will be facing the combined might of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes this June, as Marvel Comics unveils the one-shot Godzilla vs. Avengers.
This is the fifth installment in a series of six crossover one-shots. Godzilla vs. Avengers is penned by David F. Walker (Planet of the Apes), with illustrations by George Jeanty (Star Wars: Mace Windu), and features the legendary kaiju challenging Brian Michael Bendis’ New Avengers roster from his influential run.
“As a kid, I grew up watching Godzilla films, and as an adult, the New Avengers served as a beautiful reminder of my love for comics,” Walker expressed. “The mix of iconic characters in the New Avengers created a fantastic blend of quirky personalities and grand adventures that made me eagerly anticipate each new issue. Bringing Godzilla and the New Avengers together for a thrilling clash has allowed me to engage with characters I have cherished for a long time, and I hope it's as enjoyable for fans to read as it was for me to write.”

Godzilla vs. Avengers #1 will be available for purchase on June 18th, 2025.
