Final Destination (2000) is a supernatural horror movie directed by James Wong. The cast includes Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Kerr Smith, Kristen Cloke, Seann William Scott, and Tony Todd.

The plot kicks off when high school senior Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) boards a plane with his classmates for a school excursion. Just before the plane takes off, Alex experiences a premonition of the plane exploding mid-flight. In a panic, he and several other passengers, including his friends Clear Rivers (Ali Larter) and Carter Horton (Kerr Smith), are evacuated from the aircraft. Shortly after their exit, the plane detonates, validating Alex's vision.

The survivors think they have eluded death, but soon they begin to die in mysterious and horrific ways, each incident mirroring the order in which they were supposed to perish in the crash. Alex and Clear try to find a way to prevent this deadly sequence, realizing that Death is attempting to rectify fate by eliminating those who survived.

Final Destination is currently available for streaming on Max.
